Backstory Behind the Piece: Q&A with Paul

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission art as a gift?

Paul (P): The gift was unique..everyone always gets a photo of their grandkids, or nieces, but NOBODY gets artwork of them.

AC: Sometimes choosing a reference photo for an artist is hard. How did you pick out the image you provided to Orgueil for this illustration?

P: The choice of the artwork photo was easy, they were both smiling, looked genuinely happy, and really represented how they are in real life.

AC: What advice would you give to other people who would like to give custom art as a gift but don’t know what style to choose?

P: Choose something that makes them become fictional looking, yet true to reality. (if that makes ANY sense)
