Ted and His Trusty Corgi, Morgi

One of our favorite holiday gift commissions of the year came from Mya, who had her fiancé Ted illustrated riding their pet corgi (in giant form), whose fantastic name happens to be Morgikaiser (Morgi for short).

Backstory Behind the Piece – Q&A with Mya

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this piece?

Mya (M): Its just something I figured he’d love. I guess he inspired me, along with Morgi!

AC: How did Morgikaiser get his name?

M: When Ted was in Afghanistan, we would joke about how we would get a corgi and name him Morgikaiser, lord of death and metal, because that was such a ridiculous name for a Corgi. We both used to play League together so it was inspired by Mordekaiser, a champion in the game.

AC: For how long have you been playing League of Legends? Do you have a favorite champion?

M: I’ve played for 3 years I think, the years all mush up together! I play a lot of Lux and Ahri.
