Backstory Behind the Piece: Q&A with

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?

Pavel (P): My fiancé and I have a wedding in few months and we wanted to have a nice reminder for the rest of our lives.

AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?

P: I wanted comics style painting (my fiancé not so much at the beginning, but she is supportive) so the choice of Blacksmiley was made immediately.

AC: What advice would you give to a friend who is commissioning art for the first time?

P: Do not be afraid to be specific in describing you idea of the painting. We weren’t and are thrilled about the painting.
