Backstory Behind the Piece: Q&A with Michael

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?

Michael (M): My favorite teacher and possibly the reason I want to go into teaching might retire, and I want him to know we’ll miss him.

AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?

M: I liked the price point and the fact that it was a more realistic digital style, not like a caricature or anything. I wanted it to be recognizable.

AC: What advice would you give to a friend who is interested in commissioning art for the first time?

M: Don’t get all up in arms about picking someone. Narrow it down and roll a dice if you have to.
