Backstory Behind the Piece
ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?
Georgianna (G): I wanted to do something special for my newly wed parents on their first anniversary.
AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?
G: I selected the style I thought was simple, and matched my home’s theme of color. Along with this I kept the couple’s interest in mind, comic style for dad, and stark contrasts for mom.
AC: What advice would you give to a friend who is commissioning art for the first time?
G: To fully benefit from your commission, it’s best to know what you’re expecting. What do you really want? What’s your direction? The more you know what you wish to achieve, the better you can direct your artist.
