Elisa Moriconi brought a dispersed family together with this adorable commission, which she did in her cute portrait style.
Backstory Behind the Piece
ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?
Caitlin (C): I decided to commission a piece because I’m often traveling from country to country, so family pictures of us all together have become a bit few and far between! This is mostly for my mother and father, whose birthdays are in May and June and I hoped would enjoy having something like this in the house.
AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?
C: I wanted to find something sweet and whimsical because I wanted them to feel happy whenever they saw the image. I think the style turned out perfectly for the mood I was hoping for!
AC: What advice would you give to a friend who is commissioning art for the first time?
C: No advice, just jump right in. It was a quick, simple, and easy process all around, and I’ve been impressed by both the customer service and Elisa Moriconi’s turn-around time. I’ll definitely use ArtCorgi again for my next commission!
