Backstory Behind the Piece: Q&A with Tiffany
ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?
Tiffany (T): I send Christmas cards every year and I love every aspect of sending them (especially when it comes to selecting my new seasonal stamp at the post office). Lately however, I’ve been dissatisfied with the generic options you can find in the stores. I wanted to express something more personal and I could think of no better focus than our fur family.
AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?
T: I’d seen a post on my favourite rabbit forums showcasing some artwork one of the members had made of their rabbits. I instantly fell in love with the clean bold style they used. It really complimented the subject in a colourful animated way while still retaining the personal features that made them unique. When it came time to select a style for my commission, Feralkith’s portfolio had it all.
AC: What advice would you give to a friend who is interested in commissioning art for the first time?
T: Do it! Honestly it is so easy, it is personalized and not any more expensive than that generic mass produced piece you think you need to settle for.
