Backstory Behind the Piece – Q&A with Mr. Farley

ArtCorgi: What inspired you to commission this portrait?

Mr. Farley: Every year, for Christmas, I try to either create a portrait myself or have one commissioned. I came across ArtCorgi by Google search and loved the examples so I decided that this would work perfectly!

ArtCorgi: We love the wide variety of pets you two have! Have both of you always had a lot of pets?

Mr. Farley: Haha! We’ve been together almost 8 years, during which we spent 4 months long distance. As soon as we were able to secure a place we got a cat and since then they keep multiplying! The newest additions, the chickens, are so much fun! We can’t wait until March or April when they start laying eggs!
