A Sweet Treat-Filled Anime Alter Ego Portrait

When Jonathan ordered a bust portrait from Lucía García, he presented a fun request: that he be drawn as his anime persona, Himura. We love when people have their alter egos, video game personas, and genre (e.g. anime or comic-style) personas drawn, so we thoroughly enjoyed seeing this piece come together.

Backstory Behind the Piece: Q&A with Jonathan

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to commission this art?

Jonathan (J): Himura has been my anime persona for some time. All of my pictures of him are edited pictures of other chatacters though. I wanted an original portrait. But seeing as how I suck at drawing, so I had to commission one.

AC: How did you go about selecting an artist/style?

J: I just loved Lucía’s other pieces. They were perfect to capture the tone of my intended piece.
