A Professional Portrait for LinkedIn

Portrait of Jonathan Before and After of Three Bell Capital by Crespella via ArtCorgi

While we get many orders for Crespella’s bust portraits, this order from Jonathan, the CEO of Three Bell Capital, mixed things up. Rather than pose alone, Jonathan requested to have his company’s logo incorporated into the piece. We love the result!

Backstory Behind the Piece – Q&A With Jonathan

ArtCorgi (AC): What inspired you to have an illustrated portrait made?

Jonathan (J): I wanted to explore a social media picture that was both professional and interesting at the same time. We work almost exclusively with tech entrepreneurs, and I wanted something differentiated and cool. That, and everyone universally hated my current LinkedIN “fauxhawk” picture, so needed to change it up. :)

AC: When do you think illustrated portraits are better to use online than normal photos?

J: I think this is probably dependent upon what you’re using the picture for, and who you work with in terms of target viewership for the picture. For our team, our clients are predominantly younger (age 25-40), successful, and dynamic, and so for that audience, the portrait seemed to make sense.

AC: Can you tell us a bit about Three Bell capital?

J: Three Bell Capital is an independent private wealth management firm focused on representing the entrepreneurial community. We help our clients create liquidity, manage their portfolios, discuss tax strategy, understand equity comp, and generally act as a family CFO. Our team also establishes 401k plans for venture capital firms and portfolio companies, and in some cases, facilitates the sale of privately held stock in private placement transactions.
